Fires ignited in a Fenced olive land in Sidi Abdelhamid(Sousse governorate) near a Power station , regional director of civil protection Brigadier General Jaloul Jaballahin said a statment to Tunisie Numérique.
Jaballah stated that the fire broke out in the dry grass and stacks of wood as it ravaged on an area of one hectare, indicating that the fire spread and expanded to reach near the metro railway.
Reasons behind the flames remain unknown.
