Tunisia-Sousse: Kidnapped teenage girls found in a luxury “villa” in Chott Meriem

The Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of First Instance of Sousse 2 ordered the imprisonment of two people, including a minor, for misappropriation of the destination of 3 minor girls and their illegal detention, spokesman of the court Ali Abdelmoulah told Tunisienumerique.

Abdelmoulah added that the specialized research team on crimes of violence against women and children in Sousse North has drawn up a report after complaints filed by the families of the victims (aged around 15).

 A search was carried out in a luxury villa in Chott Meriem, after the judicial police of Hammam Sousse received data on their fate. The two suspects were arrested, the girls, students at the college of Sidi Bouali, were discovered in good health and were returned to their families.
