Tunisia-Sousse reports 6 New COVID-19 cases

Speaking the Jawhara FM, Sousse regional health director Sami Rekik confirmed six new imported cases of COVID-19.

The cases were discovered in an isolation centre in Sousse among returnees from Qatar.

The same official noted that almost every day new imported cases were recorded recently. He said that the patients are transferred to the quarantine centre in Monastir, and investigations are being carried out regarding the factor of contact among infected.

A decision has been taken to subject returnees from Qatar to two weeks of isolation instead of one with a further second test, he said.
