Speaking to Mosaique FM, Doctor Habiba Ben Romdhane, a university professor in preventive medicine affirmed that the data concerning the spread of coronavirus in Tunisia were anticipated. The shortage of stern measures to limit the spread of the virus is the cause and if nothing is done the toll will be even heavier.
Dr Ben Romdhane stated that if there will be any deterrent measures, their results will be manifest in 15 days. She insisted that the wave is large. It requires measures corresponding to the situation.
She added that studies have ensured that Tunisia is ranked second globally in relation to the rate of development of the virus and the number of people infected daily.
