Tunisia-Teboursouk olive oil recorded in World Intellectual Property Organisation

A new achievement for Tunisia as Teboursouk olive oil was recorded for the first time, as a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), by the Lisbon System for the International Registration of Appellations of Origin.

This trademark is internationally listed within the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) below the number 1150 on March 3, 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries announced in a declaration.

The ministry further said it obtained a letter from the WIPO office in Geneva, Switzerland on July 8, concerning this designation.
