Demonstrations continue to rise in Chebba to condemn the resolution of the office of the football federation (FTF) on October 17 to freeze the activities of the Croissant Sportif de Chebba (Ligue 1) for the forthcoming season.
On Wednesday 2 December, collisions between the security forces and club supporters took place.
Protesters launched rocks at law enforcement officers who reacted with tear gas.
The security forces deplore the wounded in their ranks, while cases of suffocation have been documented among Chebbi fans.
They asked the departure of the security agents “because of their use of violence on December 1 against the Chebbiens supporters who manifested in front of the headquarters of the Professional League, then the headquarters of the Tunisian federation football from which they were forcibly removed by the security services ”.
