Tunisia-Terrorists killed yesterday belong to Jund al-Khilafah

The identity of two terrorists killed on Saturday evening in Mount Salloum was disclosed Sunday by Spokesperson for the National Guard Houssem Jebabli.

They were ambushed in Hassi El ferid, governorate of Kasserine, by the national army backed by national guards. They are Mohamed Ouanas Ben Mohamed Midani Ben Mohamed Hajji aka Abou mosaab and Nadhem Ben Mohsen Ben Ammar Dhibi aka Abu Ammar/Adam.

The first is a Tunisian national who served as Emir of “Jund al-Khilafah” ( Army of the Caliphate) .

The second joined the terrorist groups holed up in heights since 2013 and belonged to Okba Ibn Nafaa brigade before transferring allegiance to “Jund al-Khilafah, a brigade under the terrorist organisation of Daech since late 2014.

The two terrorists participated in a string of terror attacks, including the attack on the house of a former interior minister in 2014, Henchir El Talla attack which claimed the lives of fifteen servicemen and attack which targeted a military patrol in Mount Mghilla in 2015 which killed five military personnel and injured many.

They were also among the terrorists who mounted an attack on a mill in Sidi Ali Ben Aoun in 2016 and are involved in the beheading of shepherd Said Ghozlani in 2016, Khalifa Soltani in 2017 and Khaled Ghozlani in 2018.

The two terrorists participated in two bank robberies in Kasserine en 2018 and helped lay mines that targeted police and military personnel, in addition to storming houses near the mountain to get foodstuff.
