Tunisia-The health pass soon mandatory at border crossings

From December 22, entrance to seats, spaces and structures linking to land border crossings, airports and ports, will be conditioned by the submission of a health pass, in its digital or paper version, whether for workers of these structures or customers, said the Saturday, the Ministry of Transport.

The ministry underlined that this measure comes in the application of Presidential Decree No. 1 of 2021 of October 22, 2021, and specific measures to fight the spread of the coronavirus and the new Omicron variant. The ministry likewise recollected that the terminals of ports and airports are accessible only to passengers and those accompanying passengers with disabilities or minors, and to citizens going to ports and airports for administrative procedures relating to flights.

The crews of foreign ships in Tunisian commercial ports are called upon not to leave ashore during the entire mooring period, besides in exceptional situations and on the requirement of presenting a health pass and carrying out a rapid test, in the event of need, further clarified the ministry.
