The ministry of health is the only authorized source to provide information on coronavirus, announced Interim health minister Sonia Ben Cheikh in an official declaration to Tunisie Numérique. Airports and ministries are not authorized to provide information regarding the subject matter, said Cheikh.
She indicated the necessity to stay away from false news and rumours. Moreover, she urged journalists to take Health information from ministries.
There have been no cases of the Chinese coronavirus in Tunisia, affirmed Cheikh.
Tunisia has taken all preventive measures to tackle this global threat ,she added.
