Tunisia-The three presidents pay respects on Evacuation Day

On the 15th of October  2019, Tunisian president Mohamed  Ennaceur, prime minister Youssef Chahed and Abdel Fattah Mourou vice president of “the Assembly of the Representative people” gathered to pay their respects on Evacuation Day at the garden of Martyrs in Bizerte.

The ceremony was attended by national and regional figures. A documentary was also displayed in remembrance of evacuation day which observed on October 15 the retreat of the last French troops from Bizerte in 1963.
