After an urgent meeting held in Paris on the 5th of June, the executive committee of CAF “The Confederation of African Football” announced its verdict concerning the conflict between Esperance Tunis (EST) and Wydad Athletic Club (WAC). The CAF has ordered a replay match between the two teams.
It was decided to confirm the result of the first leg which ended up with a positive draw (1-1) and rearrange a return leg on a neutral ground. The replay will be played after the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt in South Africa next July.
