Tunisia-Towards strengthening relations between Tunisia and South Korea

President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, welcomed, this Thursday, January 18, 2024, Kim Jin-pyo, President of the National Assembly of South Korea.

To this end, Kais Saïed voiced Tunisia’s satisfaction with the level of collaboration with South Korea, since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1969.

He reiterates its ambitions to develop these links, underscoring the common awareness of the promising and diversified perspectives to deepen the opportunities for partnership between the two countries.

The Head of State listed the different areas of cooperation between the two nations by encouraging technical cooperation, scientific research, the exchange of experiences, students and researchers, as well as technology transfer.

For his part, Kim Jin-pyo revealed that South Korea values the deep and solid relations it keeps with Tunisia, highlighting the country’s strategic positioning and exceptional human resources which open up broad prospects for cooperation in several areas. promising sectors, whether in the bilateral framework or that of cooperation with African countries.
