Tunisia: trade deficit worsens more than 50% in one year

The National Institute of Statistics (INS) affirmed this Tuesday, December 13, 2022, that the balance of trade balance is in the deficit of 23,281.1 million dinars (MD), during the 11 months of 2022.

The trade balance deficit was 14,653.8 MD during the same period of 2021, stated the INS, in its monthly publication on “foreign trade at current prices, November 2022”. The worsening of the trade deficit is consequently 58.8%.

The coverage rate lost 5.1 points compared to the same period in 2021, is 69.1%.
