The Ministry of Health said in a statement that 1,291 new cases of coronavirus have been identified following the 4,707 screening tests conducted on September 27-28, 2020.
This brings the total number of contaminations recorded since the beginning of the epidemic to 17405.
In addition, 246 contaminants died.
