Tunisia-Train derails on the line linking Mahdia to Sousse

A passenger train derailed, Thursday evening August 13, 2020, on the Sahel line, between Mahdia and Sousse Bab Jedid, more precisely between the Baghdadi and Bakalta stations.

According to a statement from the Tunisian National Railways Company (SNCFT), the accident resulted in no losses.

In addition, trains continued to run between Sousse Bab Jedid and Baklata only, pending normalization of train movements.
