Tunisia-Tunisia has not recorded any monkeypox cases to date.

Virologist Mahjoub Aouni to, this Friday the TAP, that Tunisia remains free from monkeypox, despite the WHO having decreed this disease as a global health emergency.
 
He added that the number of cases registered so far, worldwide has reached 17,000 cases, especially in the USA and Europe. He called on Tunisians not to panic, since human-to-human contagion remains anecdotal and requires extremely close contact and operates through biological fluids.
