Tunisia-Tunisia re -elected to ITU board of directors

Tunisia was re-elected by a majority of votes (133 out of a total of 180 votes)  to the board of directors of the International Telecommunications Union (IUT) for 2023-2026.

The vote was made at the General Assembly of the Conference of Official UIT delegates which currently takes place in Bucharest in Romania, permitting Tunisia to receive one of the 48 seats on the Board of Directors.

Tunisia partook in this election by a high-level delegation chaired by the Minister of Communication Technologies, Nizar Ben Néji, reports the Ministry of Communication Technology.

The Minister likewise presented Tunisiavision and strategy for the promotion of the digital field and the prospects for strengthening collaboration with the IUT and its 193 member countries.
