The Ministry of Health obtained medical donations from the French embassy in Tunisia.
The donation involves medical protection equipment for the profit of medical and paramedical staff and Coronavirus screening equipment, as part of the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The delivery was presented during a ceremony the ministry of health headquarters in the presence of Health Minister Faouzi Mahdi, French ambassador to Tunisia, André Parant, and several officials of the Health ministry.
Minister of Health, Faouzi Mahdi, stated that this is the third medical assistance that Tunisia is getting during this week, after the two aids coming from the United Arab Emirates, in the framework of the fight against COVID-19.
He added that this support has come to fulfil the Ministry of Health’s stockpile of personal protective equipment, which will be allocated for the interest of hospital institutions according to well-defined standards.
