Tunisia-Tunisia’s adherence to Covax: Vaccine delivery dates

The Ministry of Health declared  that Tunisia will obtain its first doses of the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccine gradually from mid-February as follows:

• The arrival of 93,600 doses (instead of the 50,000 doses originally announced) in February.
• The arrival of 500,000 to one million doses in March (instead of April).
• The arrival of the rest of the four million doses according to the earlier announced agenda.

The Ministry of Health has further indicated that the authorities will hasten vaccination campaigns in accordance with the priorities announced in the national vaccination strategy.
