Tunisia- Two journalists summoned by the police following an article accusing “a minister” of “suspicion of corruption”

Reporters Nizar Ghariani and Hajer Oueslati, received a summons to be heard, as accused, after an article entitled “corruption arousals around the Director-General of Tunisian Customs, Youssef Zouaghi”, “شبهات فساد تلاحق مدير عام الديوانية التونسية يوسف الزواغي ”, written by the latter.

It should be remarked that Youssef Zouaghi is the new Minister of Justice appointed by the prime minister Hichem Mechichi, within the framework of the cabinet reshuffle that Kais Saied had declined to finalize because of the suspicion of corruption to which certain ministers are subject.
