Tunisia-U.S expresses readiness to grant Tunisia financial aid

Health minister Abdellatif Mekki met U.S Ambassador to Tunisia Donald Blome.

The meeting examined ways to promote the relations of cooperation and partnership between the U.S and Tunisia in many fields, particularly the healths sector.

The two sides also reviewed to support more coordinated efforts between the two countries in the field of exchange of experience and information to brave what is needed by the global situation in addressing the spread of the new Coronavirus and ensuring cases of infection with this virus.

The U.S also expressed readiness to grant Tunisia financial aid to further magnify Tunisia’s abilities to overcome the health, social and economic repercussions of the new Coronavirus pandemic.
