Tunisia-UAE reiterate support for Kais Saied’s decisions

President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, welcomed, Saturday, August 7, 2021, the diplomatic adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates Anwar Gargach,  the latter handed over a written letter addressed to the Head of State by his counterpart, Cheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

 Kaïs Saïed extended his gratitude to the leaders and the people of the UAE for their noble stand of solidarity with Tunisia during the health and political crisis that is going through.

Anwar Gargach emphasised that the UAE  understand and support the “historic” decisions of the President of the Republic, and are also “aware of their importance to protect the Tunisian state and respond to the will of its people”. He likewise expressed the readiness of the United Arab Emirates to support Tunisia in order to strengthen the historic fraternal bonds that unite the two nations.
