Tunisia – UGTT requests investigation against Sfax governor

The UGTT Regional Executive Bureau in Sfax, met yesterday to deal with a visit that the region’s governor, Fakher Fakhfakh, would have made to an inmate in civil prison Sfax, following complaints filed against him by the UGTT for defamation, and for having illegally entered the UGTT regional office.

According to the executive office, the governor would have pledged to the detainee to help him get out of prison as soon as possible, which has been considered a serious interference in justice affairs.
