Tunisia-UGTT strongly denounces UAE normalization with Zionist entity

The Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) strongly condemned on Friday what it called “the UAE’s“ shameful decision to normalize its relations with the Zionist entity ”, following the announcement of the two parties on Thursday evening .

After its meeting on Friday, the Administrative Body of the UGTT condemned, in a statement, this decision, which it considered “an episode in a series of betrayals practiced by the Arab regimes loyal to the colonial powers”, welcoming the position of the Palestinian Authority to withdraw its ambassador from the Emirates.

The administrative body of the union organization also called on the Palestinian Authority to sever its ties with the Emirates as soon as they signed what it called a “shameful agreement”, calling on the Tunisian government to condemn this treason, “indicating that the normalization agreement aims to undermine the legitimate rights of Palestinians to establish an independent state.

The Tunisian General Labor Union has renewed its firm and anti-normalization position, assuring that it will fight it at all levels, calling again for the enactment of a Tunisian law that criminalizes standardization.

The UGTT statement, in which it strongly condemned the UAE’s announcement comes after an agreement was reached on Thursday to normalize relations with the Zionist entity, leading to the full normalization of diplomatic relations between them, to an extent that will reshape the political scene in the Middle East.
