Tunisia [Video]: Commemoration of the first anniversary of Amdoun tragedy accident

The parents of the victims of the bus crash in Amdoun and the civil society associations commemorated today the first anniversary of the tragic accident.

It is evoked that a year ago, a bus belonging to a travel agency organized an excursion to Tabarka but the vehicle plunged into a ravine in Amdoun, killing 31 people and injuring several others.

Since then, the site has been improved and a concrete barrier has been constructed along the road which overlooks a ravine.

This demonstration forms an act of solidarity with the victims and the wounded and intends to sensitize the government and the public opinion on the victims of the roads in order to stop the occurrence of such accidents.

This is an action directed at encouraging the government to observe roads, drivers and users who do not respect the driving rules as well as to operate to improve the condition of the roads to make them safer.
