Tunisia-[Video] Mohamed Ammar:Many MPs who signed the motion of no confidence, especially women were harassed

Rached Ghannouchi had the opportunity during the questioning session and he granted many promises similar to removing his chief of staff Habib Kheder in addition to several changes, however, he didn’t keep his promises, Democratic current MP Mohamed Ammar told Tunisie Numérique.

The same source stressed that many MPs who signed the motion of no confidence especially women were harassed particularly regarding their honour. Our speaker expressed that some parties are seeking to reduce the attendance during the plenary session, considering that setting the date for the session one day before Eid al-Adha bears much meanness.

Ammar stressed that the failure of Ghannouchi to make these changes is a very big mistake, and today it represents an element of tension in Parliament.

If I was in his place I would have resigned before the session, he added.
