The situation dictates that each party make concessions in order to get Tunisia out of the crisis, Qalb Tounes MP Tounes Oussama Khelifi announced.
Speaking to reporters after meeting prime minister-designate Hichem Mechichi, he stressed that all components of the political scene must display patriotism, stipulating that his party called Mechichi to dialogue and to form a government of national unity capable of solving the real problems of the Tunisian people.
From this perspective, Khelifi estimated that the next team will be the second government of the president stressing that the latter must assume his choice and that all the leaders of the country must do the same. “The leaders of the country must take responsibility for their choices,” he said, adding that the future government must ensure national unity and have a program that puts the fight against poverty forward.
Khelifi added that the next government should not be confrontational because the country “no longer supports political conflicts”.
