Tunisia [Video]: Protest rally by medical and paramedical staff at Gafsa hospital

Medical and paramedical personnel from Houssine Bouzaiene regional hospital held a demonstration outside the facility on Wednesday to condemn the deteriorating health conditions in the region.

Backed by civil society, the movement of hospital staff intervenes to scrutinise the attitude of regional and central authorities towards the establishment.

They stated that the hospital has become a hotbed of Covid-19, adding that patients and staff are suffering due to lack of equipment, medicine and oxygen.

The protesters called for the situation to be remedied by taking the necessary measures in this regard.
