Some 100 illegal immigrants were intercepted Thursday evening at the coast by the Maritime Guard and arrived this Friday morning, February 12, 2021, at the commercial port of Sousse.
Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, spokesperson for the base union of the National Guard, Karim Belhouche emphasised that 100 illegal migrants including women have intercepted on Thursday evening on board a ship off Sousse while they were heading for Italy.
He said they were saved, remarking that civilian protection teams had come to assist them.
