Tunisia-Visits to Elderly centers banned

The Minister of Women, Family, Children and Seniors Imen Zahouani Houimel announced, this Thursday, October 1, 2020, in a press release published at the end of her visit to the reception centre for the elderly in Kef, that new measures have been taken to protect residents from the coronavirus.

Thus, and in addition to the supply of masks and disinfectant gel, visits will be prohibited. Residents can contact their relatives by phone or via social networks.

Also, retirement pensions will be remitted to their beneficiaries by post, according to the same source.

It should be noted that the Minister for Women today inaugurated the reception centre for the elderly in the governorate of Kef. The establishment has resumed its activity, following the end of maintenance work worth a total of 826,580,000 dinars.
