Tunisia-War in Ukraine: Hedi Bakkour forecasts higher prices for all products

The President of the Chamber of Hypermarkets, Hedi Bakkour, confirmed that a wave of price increases will impact all products and sectors, after the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian war on fuel prices, maritime transport and raw materials in the globe.

In a statement to private radio, Bakkour emphasised that this wave does not solely involve Tunisia. “It is difficult to foresee the rate of the rise in the price of oil or to predict the rise in commodity and food prices,” he clarified.
