Tunisia – water cut for more than 24 hours in these regions

The National Water Exploitation and Distribution Company (SONEDE) has announced a water cut lasting more than 24 hours, starting tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., to repair a breakdown in the central pipes. The affected areas include various locations in the governorates of Tunis, Zaghouan, Nabeul, and all delegations in the governorate of Ben Arous. The outage will impact neighbourhoods in Tunis, including El Wardia 5, Al-Nour district, Ibn Sina district, Al-Mourouj 2, Jebal Al-Jloud, and Sidi Fathallah. Supply is expected to gradually resume on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at noon, after the completion of the repair work. The water cut is necessary due to damage in the main canal bringing water to the southern suburbs of the capital.
