Tunisia- We have not yet reached the peak of COVID-19,says Health Minister

The Minister of Health, Fawzi Mahdi, emphasised that the country is still in the third stage of the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

In a statement to “Lemaghreb ” in its edition issued today, Wednesday, September 23, 2020, the minister added: “We have not yet reached the peak stage, which entails increasing capabilities, particularly strengthening ICU departments, while accelerating the assignment of medical and paramedical workers and the development of public hospitals to shelter Cases that deserve oxygen, in addition to developing laboratories and increasing their number in the public and private sectors.
