Tunisia: Who is Nizar Ben Neji, in charge of the leady of the Ministry of Technology?

The President of the Republic, Kais Saied decided, under a presidential decree to remove the Minister of Communication Technologies, Mohamed Fadhel Kraiem and designated Mr. Nizar Ben Néji, to lead the ministry.

 

Mr. Nizar Ben Néji, finished his engineering training at the National School of Computer Sciences – ENSI, he further holds a doctorate in information technology from Sup’Com. He is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Sciences of Bizerte -FSB and head of the Security Department at the International University of Tunis (UIT). Moreover,he is an Assistant Professor and a researcher at the University of Carthage in Tunisia and a former Fulbright visiting scholar at the Massachusetts University of Amherst in the USA.

He also serves as a lecturer and member of the digital security research unit at Sup’Com. In addition, Mr. Ben Néji has been appointed project manager at the National Agency for Electronic Certification -ANCE.

An expert in computer security, he has brought his touch to various national projects, in particular, the TUNEPS (Tunisian Online E-Procurement System) and the National Committee in charge of revising the cybersecurity and cyber criminality law in Tunisia and many others.
