Tunisia-With the partipation of Basma Khalfaoui,PDL holds demonstration against political violence outside HPR

The Free Destourian Movement (PDL) rallied outside the House of People’s Representatives (HPR) in a demonstration against political violence.

Demonstrators carried portraits of martyrs Chokri Belaid and Mohamed Brahmi and those of the security institution to oppose terrorism and political violence.

Leader of the PDL Abir Moussi affirmed that the active participation of civil society activists who are against the PDL only proves that despite disagreements violence has no place.

 

Basma Khalfaoui, widow of Chokri Bélaïd participated in the demonstration where she denounced all kinds of violence that target politicians despite their differences and orientations. she called all political spheres and the Tunisian elite to rally and exploit the competence of the old and new system to rebuilt Tunisia.
