A citizen from Tataouine governorate, infected with coronavirus, was stopped as she was about to travel through Djerba-Zarzis International Airport.
The governor of the region, Habib Chaouat, announced the services concerned intercepted the patient after the airport services received information.
He explained that this citizen knew she was infected with Covid-19, adding that a rapid intervention was carried out to keep her away from travellers and airport employees, after which she was transferred to a quarantine centre.
