MP Yassine Ayari published a post yesterday on his official page in which he reveals that the Democrat bloc MPs were actually victims of violence and that he can even assert to it because he was present at the time of the attack.
He called the bloc’s demands, nevertheless, acceptable, given that nothing in the Parliament’s rules of procedure pronounces that condemnatory statements issued by the presidency of parliament need be voted on in plenary.
The deputy also criticised that Samia Abbou ripped the key to the plenary hall from the cleaning lady and prevented MPs deputies from accessing it, believing that deputies have the right to object, but that they must do so in a peaceful and within the framework of respect for the law.
He also called on the President of Parliament to avoid shielding those who exercise violence and hide behind sophisticate speeches.
