Tunisia – Zakaria Bouguira heads to Carthage Palace

Zakaria Bouguira announced today that he will go to Carthage presidential palace to meet the President of the Republic, Kais Saied to submit to him the “Zero Covid” strategy. This strategy was formed two weeks ago by 75 Tunisian doctors of all specialities.
He affirmed that this decision comes after the rejection of the prime minister and the President of the Republic to take seriously the recommendations of health experts.
According to the doctor, the strategy is based on the imposition of general lockdown of at least six weeks, compulsory quarantine for travellers arriving in Tunisia with the obligation to present a PCR test, the intensification of screening tests as well and the generalization of vaccination.
