Tunisia-Zarzis: residents protest and attack delegation’s seat

Zarzis locals attacked on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, the headquarters of the delegation and pushed school students to abandon lessons, to protest against what they considered the improper treatment of regional authorities with the tragedy of 17 people who went missing at the sea.

The governor of Medenine Said Ben Zayed condemned these assaults and called on the inhabitants of the region in question to keep calm highlighting that the authorities continue their efforts in order to find the missing, reports Tunisie Numérique’sv correspondent.
