Remarking on Safi Said’s latest comments that he funded Echâab party’s election campaign, MP Zouhair Maghzaoui told that this is not a lie and only aims to slander the party.
He argued that Echâab MPs never attacked or pleaded with anyone even during the former regime, consequently discarding Safi Said’s words. Concerning the rapprochement with the President of the Republic Kais Saied, the MP emphasised that despite the various points in common, there are still some differences of opinion.
Maghzaoui, in this sense, said that it is Safi Said who would have perpetrated multiple offences during his campaign, adding that the disputes between the Echaâb Movement and Said started when the latter approached the Ennahdha Movement to obtain the presidency of the government and that he saw himself out of the race because of the Echaâb party.
