Ukraine imposes martial law

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the imposition of martial law in Ukraine after Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a special military operation in the Donbass, described by the Ukrainian foreign minister as “a full-scale invasion.”

“The United States has already begun to mobilize international support,” Zelensky wrote in a statement, urging Ukrainians to remain calm and stay at home if possible.
