Senior UNICEF Emergency Coordinator in Gaza Hamish Young warned on Friday that no fuel and “virtually no” humanitarian aid has been delivered to the Gaza Strip in the last five days.
“We are scraping the bottom of the barrel,” Young said. “This is already a huge issue for the population and all humanitarian actors but in a matter of days, if not corrected, the lack of fuel could grind humanitarian operations to a halt.”
