MILITARY ADVANCEMENTS OF UKRAINIAN ARMY
- Russian troops have sharply increased the intensity of shelling and ground attacks in recent weeks. Russian command is trying to quickly achieve the maximum possible results until American military aid to Ukraine is fully restored. That is why the Russian command does not count on losses and sends personnel on ‘’meat assaults.’’
- While not having strategic success on the battlefield Russia seeks to destroy everything that it cannot capture and continues to intimidate and terrorize Ukrainian civilians by attacking the critical infrastructure and residential areas in a destructive, brutal, and cynical way with missiles, guided aerial bombs and attack drones resulting in significant casualties and destruction. Russians use a significant number of guided aerial bombs, weighing up to 1.5 tons and capable of destroying everything they hit.
PUTIN’S ‘’INAUGURATION’’
- On May 7, Putin’s ‘’inauguration’’ ceremony was held in Moscow. Russian dictator declared himself ‘’president’’ for the fifth time.
- Leading countries and international organizations, together with Ukraine, condemned the so-called ‘’elections’’ in Russia as illegal and undemocratic. Most countries refused to participate in the ‘’inauguration’’ farce. In his speech Putin lied and threatened, blamed the West for his own problems, and talked about a ‘’multipolar world’’, denying Ukraine the right to exist.
VICTORY OVER NAZISM DAY
- On May 8, Ukraine celebrated the Day of Victory over Nazism in the Second World War with most European countries. Ukraine was one of the most affected countries during the Second World War. Its entire territory was occupied, great battles were fought there, and great tragedies of that war took place. Ukrainians on the side of the anti-Hitler coalition made a significant contribution to the victory over Nazism and the allies of Hitler’s Germany.
- The Second World War became possible due to the conspiracy of both inhumane regimes, Nazi and Soviet. The heir of the latter is now the modern Russia, which, in our time, repeats the shameful practices of Stalinism and Nazism.
- Russia have effectively destroyed the system of international relations established after the Second World War.
- Today, as in the years of the Second World War, Ukraine is fighting with Russia, as an aggressor in Europe, for international PEACE, SECURITY AND JUSTICE.
