University of London #1 in Europe and #2 in the World offers its programmes in Tunisia

On Tuesday, May 31st, the UTC Carthage Business School hosted a launch event to celebrate the recent partnership with the University of London and London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). This private event took place at UTC’s campus in Tunis and welcomed a series of guest speakers, including Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Tunisia. Ms Helen Winterton, directors and professors from LSE and the University of London, the UTC leadership and Board of Advisors, business leaders, and highly-esteemed tunisian university professors and researchers.

Helen Winterton, Ambassador of the UK in Tunisia, said she was proud of this partnership which is under the aegis of the collaboration that links the governments of Tunisia and the United Kingdom

“This is also a moment to celebrate the growing partnership between the UK and Tunisia in the field of higher education. The UK is also a partner in education more broadly in Tunisia through the Global Partnership for Education, Projects with the World Bank, Second Chance Education with UNICEF, and teaching of English language and soft skills in partnership with the British Council. The launch of this partnership between LSE and Carthage Business supports the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s objectives to improve the employability of young tunisians. We are very proud of this fruitful collaboration with the Tunisian government across the education sector. This will continue to be a priority for the UK and me personally.” announced the Ambassador of the United-Kingdom to Tunisia Helen Winterton.
