United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini stated on Monday that the coming days will determine whether the agency will be able to “continue to operate in this extraordinarily challenging environment” in the Gaza Strip. He said the UN’s convoys at the Egyptian border have been “looted and vandalized” and that the UNRWA “could not operate without a minimum of protection” for the first time on Sunday.
