The Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Felipe Lazzarini, has voiced concern over the risk of outbreaks of illnesses in the Gaza Strip, such as cholera, the official press agency reported.
During his visit to Berlin, the German capital, in a bid to mobilize more support for the organization, Lazzarini talked of the almost “desperate” situation of citizens in the Gaza Strip, stressing the necessity to confront famine and cope with the deterioration of the situation in the south, indicates the WAFA agency.
