US imposes visa bans on Israeli settlers

The United States has imposed visa restrictions on Israeli settlers believed to have been involved in violence in the West Bank, the State Department said Tuesday in a statement attributed to Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“We have underscored to the Israeli government the need to do more to hold accountable extremist settlers who have committed violent attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank,” Blinken declared, adding that “those attacks are unacceptable.”
