The United States opened its borders on Monday for travelers vaccinated against COVID-19 coming from more than 30 countries across the globe.
The decision was initially announced last month, when the White House confirmed inoculated foreign visitors will be able to enter the country using both land and air travel from November 8.
The country’s borders with Canada and Mexico are already full of people trying to enter the US, according to reports published by local media throughout the day, mainly due to the travel ban being in effect since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in March last year.
