Ventilator bursts into flames in ICU of COVID-19 hospital in India

Dramatic CCTV footage shows the moment ICU staff sprung into action to evacuate coronavirus patients after a ventilator burst into flames. Things could have ended in tragedy after the malfunctioning machine caught fire at SSG Hospital in Vadodara, western India on September 8. But four quick-thinking medics were thankfully there to save the day and no one was injured in the blaze. A video shows staff surround the patient who is closest to the ventilator after a piercing noise rings through the hospital .
