Video: Stafim reveals New Opel Astra, a revolution in automotive design and technology in Tunisia

Stafim, the official importer of the Peugeot, Opel and Citroën brands in Tunisia, celebrated June 8, 2023, by officially launching the New Opel Astra in the attendance of prestigious guests, representatives of Stellantis, reporters and its executives. The event was moderated by ambassador of the Opel brand in Tunisia Samira Magroun and Sadri Skander, an automotive expert.

The New Opel Astra charmed the audience with its daring and sleek design, symbolising Opel’s new design philosophy. It is equipped with creative technologies, including the Pure Panel system with enormous screens and intuitive controls, as well as numerous automated assistance systems for high safety and comfort. The AGR-certified ergonomic seats deliver exceptional comfort, and it is available in leather and Alcantara as an option.

This sixth generation of the best-seller in the compact class has already won various international awards, including the Red Dot Award 2023 in the “Product Design” category, the “Golden Steering Wheel 2022” and the title of “FAMILY CAR of the Year 2022 ”. The New Opel Astra represents the new face of the brand with the Opel Vizor and the fully digital Pure Panel, offering a contemporary and intuitive driving experience.

The New Astra likewise offers a range of state-of-the-art assistance systems, such as forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, vehicle recognition traffic signs and drowsiness detection.

Designed, developed and manufactured at Opel headquarters in Germany, this German compact car is both active and stable on the road, offering precise control and exceptional stopping power. It is offered in Tunisia with a 130 horsepower gasoline engine, associated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The New Opel Astra is available for testing in Stafim agencies in Tunis, Hammamet and Sfax, and new agencies are arranged to better serve customers throughout Tunisia. Customers can likewise make an appointment online for the maintenance or repair of their vehicle via the Opel Tunisia website.
